This smoothie changed my life… literally.
I started making this smoothie when I was recovering after getting out of the hospital. When I was at school all day, I would make this smoothie to bring with me to sip on throughout my classes. It kept me satiated and nourished me at the same time. The cleansing properties of the fiber in this smoothie help keep the body flushing out toxins. It’s my daily medicine. There have been very few days in the past 4 years that I’ve gone without my smoothie. I just love it so much!

Ingredients
- 1 head romaine lettuce
- 1 handful spinach
- 2 cups water
- 1 apple, cored
- Juice of ½ lemon
- ½ banana
- 2 Tbsp hemp protein powder (optional)
Instructions
- Blend romaine, spinach, and water in blender until liquefied. Add remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.
