Spirulina is one of my favorite super foods. It’s incredible! I have been using it for a few years and it’s one of the best ways to naturally boost energy. I add it to my smoothies a few times per week or I make my Spirulina Energy Shot (recipe below) to give me a kickstart in the morning. It makes me feel wild! It’s super high in protein, which makes it great for vegans or just as a protein boost in your diet. - Juice of 2 oranges
- 1 tsp spirulina powder
- Juice the oranges into a cup and add spirulina powder. Wisk until powder is dissolved.
- This makes 1 serving/3 shots.
- I like to put the mixture into a 1oz shot glass to divide the serving into 3 shots... taking it as a shot makes it easier to get down!
- Note: I recommend having a water chaser nearby as this isn't the most delicious drink there is ๐
